'Yes Man' @ GV Plaza – 01/01/09

Baby redeemed free movie tickets from Citibank Rewards… hehe... free movie for first day of 2009…. great start of the year....Dinner with my family @ Geylang Bahru ard 6.30pm…. After the dinner we went down to Plaza Singapura to watch the 9.20pm show…

All I can say is that I have no regrets watching for this show... I was rather tired while heading down to the cinema due to a little bit hangover… from last night drinking... but I was widely awake during the whole show... Very hilarious and light-hearted that it will make you have a good hard laugh throughout the whole show. The show really reflects many peoples’ perception of life.. A very different romantic comedy… It's better than what I've expected! A must watch for this festive season!!! Jim Carrey is finally back into the movie that will lift his status back … Definitely one of his best movie!!!

Yes Man is definitely worth my thumbs-up.

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
