Weekend dinner with my parents... My little brother - Tony was not free to join for dinner... So we made our way to AMK Hub for dinner... as Ma is lil crazy about Dian Xiao Er... eversince bro & I brought her to the Tampines One branch...

We ordered the signature dish - Angelica Herbs Roasted Duck, Stir-fried Baby Kailan with Salt Fish & Lime Sauce and Steamed Fish Slice with Chinese Mushroom, Ginger and Red Dates
She loves Angelica Herbs (Tung Gui) Roasted Duck best...

Yummy dinner... with a decent damage of SGD50.... My parents enjoyed the dinner too.. as ma kept raving abt the dinner... She said AMK is way better than Tampines One branch... Haha... Bet ma will stick her choice to AMK branch liao...

After dinner, I went over to Mondo to get platform sandals for weekend... Got this pair @ SGD24... Cheap yet comfy... Love my loot...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
