HOMECOMING 《笑着回家》

Film-maker, Jack Neo will be starring in a new local production - 'Homecoming', playing a cross-dressing role as mother to Ah Niu's character. The Malaysian singer himself will play a filial son who embarks on a hilarious journey across the causeway for the yearly reunion dinner.

Local director - Jack Neo makes his comeback after his extramarital affair which was exposed in March 2010. Shall not go into details of his personal matters...

Jack Neo bears the same birthday as me... Both of us are born in 24th of January... (of course there is a wide gap in years born lah... Haha!) He is best known for his cross-dressing roles. He started his career on television in 1980 and has become one of the most successful and recognizable celebrities in MediaCorp for his comedic cross-dressing roles on film and television.

It's been eight years since Jack Neo dressed up as a woman... In his latest CNY movie -'Homecoming', he plays a middle-aged aunty - Karen Neo.

The main reason that I want to watch this movie is because it relates to 'FAMILY BONDING'... 'Homecoming' is a series of stories about family and the significance of going home and of course the importance of reunion dinner since this is a CNY movie...

Being a 100% true Singaporean, I am proud to say that I have been a loyal supporter for local movies eversince 1998 (his first movie - Money No Enough)... Hope I can be selected for the gala premiere cum post-party with Cast and Crew at Gallery Bar - St James Power Station.

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
