Mini Celebration @ Modesto's

After meeting up each other after work, Baby & I will always complete our day with a nice dinner... This time, we went to Modesto's @ Orchard Parade Hotel to have our meal...


Complimentary home-baked bread with the option for refill... They tasted really good with olive oil and vinegar... I love this simple and authentic starter of Italian cuisine...

We ordered CALAMARI FRITTI >>>> They are so yummy that I can't stop popping them into my mouth....


As they are serving Traditional Italian Wood-Fired Pizzas and Home-Made Pasta... 'That's what I called ITALIAN FEELING'

We ordered the regular size thin-crusted pizza - SALSICCIA SCAMORZA...
 
Baby had his fave pasta - PENNE BOLOGNESE

As my Baby just started his new job few days ago... As I can see that he loves his new job and new environment and most importantly his new company is paying his desired pay :) *hugz*. Therefore we had a mini celebration for his new job, this meal is on me :)

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
