Thumbs up! Cafe de Hong Kong

On a random Sunday, Baby and I made our way to Cafe de Hong Kong at Balestier Road for our dinner. This eatery place is one of our regular food haunts...


 Cam-whoring in Jazzy...


We ordered the Sweet Corn with Egg White Soup and this dish is seen in most Hong Kong cuisine based Restaurants... The broth was served in a large bowl that allows 4-5 servings, pretty value-for-money. It tasted alright to our taste-buds


We ordered the signature dish and the best seller in this restaurant, Roasted Nam Yu Chicken... The meat was juicy, not dry at all and the skin is crispy. This dish comes along with special sauce, and the chicken REALLY tasted better after dipping with the sauce.


Steamed Beancurd with Prawns/Minced Meat and the topping is my favorite, Roe... OM! I love this dish very much, as everybody knows that steamed dishes are always being regarded as healthy choices, so ladies, do make this dish as one of your orders when you visit Cafe de Hong Kong.


The damage was SGD43-ish. The service was impeccable, attentive and polite. A must-visit eatery place, lastly, I enjoyed simple cze char fare with my Baby...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
