Be entertain by Madagascar 3

No doubt watching movies In JB, Malaysia is not a new thing for me and Baby, but I recently caught a movie at MBO Cineplex at KSL Mall which was our first time patronizing this cinema. We were eager to know about the quality of the film screen and the comfort level of the seats in the theatres... The seats were REALLY comfortable but we were disappointed by the quality of the film screen as there were a lot thin scratch lines when the film was playing on the big screen. Oh well, we only paid RM22 (abt SGD9) for a pair of movie tickets for 'Madagascar 3', so I think we better not to crow too much or complain about it.

The familiar foursome, Alex the Lion (voiced by Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (voiced by Chris Rock), Gloria the Hippo (voiced by Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (voiced by David Schwimmer) are still in Africa yearning for their lives back in New York. To beat their homesickness, they once again embark on an adventure to get home to their beloved Big Apple. King Julien (voiced by Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice (voiced by Cedric the Entertainer) and the Penguins are along for the adventure too. This time the journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover, a traveling circus, which they re-invent into their Madagascar style!

‘Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted’ is also known asMadagascar 3 and it is a 2012, 3D computer-animated comedy film. It is the third installment of the series, following ‘Madagascar’ and ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’ and has received generally positive reviews.

New Italian circus animals are introduced to this new series, Vitaly the Russian Tiger (voiced by Bryan Cranston), Gia the Jaguar (voiced by Jessica Chastain) and Stefano the Italian Sea Lion (voiced by Martin Short). They really stole the whole show and I love their Italian accent.

‘Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted’ is humorous and the jokes are still pretty hilarious. There are two scenes in the movie that I found pretty funny, the romantic yet silly relationship between King Julien and the new character, Sonya the Bear (voiced by Frank Welker) and ruthless new character, Captain Chantel Dubois the Monaco Animal Control Officer (voiced by Frances McDormand). She does a lot of crazy stunts like jumping over obstacles with her bike etc, but the scene which made me laugh the most about her was the preposterous methods of tracking the animals, as she can simply crawl on all fours just like a dog does.

The Afro Circus song written by Chris Rock was playing during the end credits, I found the tune pretty weird, but somehow quite contagious as I will hum it on and off to myself without knowing.

The breathtaking circus stunts scene is one the most entertaining part of the entire movie. I love the combination of the different stunts along with the colorful neon lights and lastly with Katy Perry’s Firework being played in the background, this scene is simply wonderful.
The morale of the story is about friendship, with friends should be sticking together through thick and thin and don’t ever give up easily on things.
3.5/5

The overall plot of the movie is pretty good. ‘Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted’ delivers a great deal of fun for all ages. It makes me feel like I was a kid again and I sincerely wish for Madagascar 4.
