Dinner at Saizeriya

Saizeriya restaurant is a Japanese chain of Italian-styled family restaurant, and is well-known for its budget fusion Italian-Japanese food. No doubt, their flagship restaurant was located at the Liang Court a couple of years ago, but I had a chance to dine there due to my craving for Tampopo whenever I am there.

It was a causal Sunday day out with my Baby, so we decided to visit Saizeriya restaurant at City Square Mall, located at Kitchener Road. We were surprised to see the price tags indicated in the menu... It was ATTRACTIVE and PLEASANT to our pockets. *GRIN*

Top up a minimal charge for a free flow of drink from the drink counter bar, and they have a wide selection from soft drinks to coffee and tea.

We started off my meal with Garlic Focaccia, a flat oven-baked Italian bread, and it looks similar in style and texture to a pizza. It has a nice fragrance of herbs and garlic.

Baby ordered Soup Pasta Asari as his main course...

I had Tuna Penne

We had Chicken Wings (Mid Joint) as our side dish to go along with our meals. It is one of their best sellers which received a lot of raves on the net. The chicken wings were served on a hotplate and they were well marinated and tasted awesome. Remember to eat them while they are hot as the skin will become soggy due to the layer of oil on the hotplate.

We ordered the Truffle Ice-cream to complete our dinner. It tasted fabulous and worth leaving a portion of your stomach for this awesome dessert.

The damage was SGD28-ish. Worth every penny spent! The service is rather decent, as there is no service charge and inclusive GST. I will definitely be back again!

Ending my post with my casual (shui bian) outfit of the day!!
