All about RKM and Coco

It's been a long time since Coco went for a doggy event, and we decided to bring her to the Woodgrove Pet Carnival as a reward for being a good furkid for the whole year of 2012...

My cutest furkid, Coco

Coco's doggy bag from the event, and it was pretty attractive and generous. I am looking forward for more pooch events in the near future...

Apart from the goodies for Coco, owners got something from the event too...

Hand Sanitizer and alarm device for self-protection (for the ladies)...

We went for our lunch after the pet carnival, we settled at Blanco Court Prawn Mee located along Jalan Kayu Road...

The prawn broth was thick and flavorful, but most importantly is that the oiliness and saltiness has been reduced for health conscious people...

Otah is my favorite snack since young and they are usually wrapped in either coconut or banana leaves. Baby got me the best Otah in Singapore from Hiang Soon Otar Food Catering which is located on the same stretch of shop-houses as the Blanco Court Prawn Mee. *Feel blessed* Baby knows me the best.

Each Otah costs 50 cents...

Dinner at Swee Kee (Ka-Soh) Fish Head Noodle House located at Amoy Street, and they are famous for their signature fish head noodles.
I had the Slice Fish Noodles Soup (1-person portion) smells fragrant but lack of depth of flavor. The sliced fish meat was fresh and portion was generous too. Though the restaurant claims that they do not add condensed milk into the broth but I did tasted condensed milk in the soup.

This plate of 'Jia Xiang Tou Fu' tasted awesome, the gravy contains my favorite dry turnip (Cai Poh) and it goes very well with white rice...

Baby and I finally fulfilled our craving of crabby feast, and we had our dinner at Eng Seng Restaurant which is located along Joo Chiat Road. This eatery place is known for their Black Pepper Crabs…

We were dang 'kiasu' (100% typical Singaporean) that we reached there around 5.30pm as to ensure that we got our table as it is a Kopitiam that does not allow patrons to book tables in advance. The crowd normally will start to form after 6pm...

We had 2 Black Pepper Crabs. The freshness of the crab never fail me, and the flesh of the crab was uber sweet and taste good too. We had a great dinner as both of us love the crabs from Eng Seng Restaurant and we will be coming REAL soon... *Drooling over for more BLACK PEPPER CRABS*

During Baby's birthday last September, I brought him to The Line, Shangri-La Hotel Singapore to enjoy his weekend lunch buffet as a form of celebration. We love the awesome buffet spread at The Line, and we will make our re-visit soon.

Birthday cake from the house... Thanks Shangri-La for the kind arrangement!!
