Official launch of Sentosa 4D AdventureLand

Sentosa 4D AdventureLand features 3 exciting interactive entertainment experiences, and with the launch of its all new 4-D Movie Experience, ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ is making us look forward to a trip down to Sentosa. The 4-Dimensional theatre is an award-winning attraction which is located at Sentosa, Imbiah Lookout for the most popular small attraction for 5 consecutive years (2007-2011).

 

 

The new 4-D movie features the 2012 released Hollywood blockbuster - ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ which is starring the original casts with stars like Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Luis Guzman, Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens, into a 4-D format exclusively for screening at the Sentosa 4D AdventureLand. The premiere in Asia replaced the long running 4-D movie, ‘Pirates’ since its opening in 2005 and over 2.5 million visitors from around the world have enjoyed it. 

Apart from the 4-D movie, visitors can experience another two rides, the ‘Extreme Log Ride’ – 4-D motion-simulated ride launched in 2007 and ‘Desperados’ – 4-D interactive shoot-out game launched in 2009. All 3 experiences are offered under the all-new attraction spot, Sentosa 4D AdventureLand to visitors with unlimited access via One-Day Adventure Pass.

I made my way to the Sentosa 4D AdventureLand to attend the official launch…

 

To be brief, the 4-D show is exactly like a 3-D show, where you still wear the 3-D glasses, but the differeince is in 4-D show, you will experience water which ACTUALLY came down to the seats (in small volumes of course) and felt a strong gust of air blown directly to our faces!

 

I was glad to be invited to the Official Launch of Sentosa 4D AdventureLand which features the new 4-D movie, ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’.

 

 

 

My partner of the night was Jas Jas, and both of us enjoyed our 4-D experience very much. With the all new cool effects, it is definitely worth a multiple number of visits…

 

In this 4-D show, ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’, I was rudely but pleasantly surprised when the screen showed that the spear was flying towards the audience and the seat I was sitting on ACTUALLY PRODDED me gently in my back via a probe like rod thingy from the chair.

 

Extreme Log Ride Is a virtual 4-D roller coaster ride that brings us on a thrilling adventure into heavily forested and mountainous landscape. It is fun to soar between cliffs, plunging over waterfalls and diving into crocodile infested waters. With high definition wide screen, be prepared to face the twist, turn, dip and dive while experiencing the Extreme Log Ride.

 

Desperados, the Interactive 4-D Shoot-out game is one of my favorite attractions in the Sentosa 4D AdventureLand and it is also the first 4-D interactive shoot-put theatre in Singapore. I love the idea of riding the realistic motion saddles and holding on the motion-sensor pistols while shooting the army of bandits. It is an exciting and bumpy experience.

 

Thanks for the lovely invite and I was glad to be able to experience all 3 attractions at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand. They are AWESOME!!
