America’s Got Talent, Recycled Percussion

Recycled Percussion was formed in 1994 in New Hampshire at their High School talent show, and their first performance gave birth to the style of music now known as ‘JUNK ROCK’.

Recycled Percussion toured all over the United States before making a debut on reality the television show, America’s Got Talent, in 2009 where they finished in third placing. The band received its highest honour in 2010 when it sealed a deal with MGM Grand in Las Vegas, becoming the only band with their own show on the Las Vegas strip nightly.

Once we entered the Marquee, we were given a drumstick and a pail, and I also noticed the colored sticker (Blue) was affixed at the bottom of the pail...

When the show began, we were divided up among 4 teams (Blue, Red, Black and Green), determined by the color of the sticker you were having. We made noise music with them throughout the whole show.

During the performance, the foursome used trash cans, a three-metre tall ladder or simply just anything they can get their hands on...

The cast member's interaction with the audience was amazing. The whole show was pretty down to earth. Through their performance, I can feel the passion is living within them and the foursome really enjoy what they're doing.

It was an energetic and interactive show with constant laughter... I love the idea of being a part of the performance as I was given omy wn drumstick and pail to make my own music. I had the pleasure to watch this amazing performance all thanks to Costa Sands Resort.
