[Chili’s ‘Big Mouth Burger Day'] Big Mouth Champ – Food bloggers VS social media contest winners
I attended the Chili’s ‘Big Mouth Burger Day' at Chili’s Grill & Bar which is located at Central @ Clarke Quay. It was held in conjunction with Chili’s 4th Year Anniversary, Chili’s hosted a group of bloggers to challenge the selected online social media contest winners in creating their own mega Big Mouth Burger by choosing from a list of Big Mouth Burger ingredients.
Both groups judged
each other’s creations and 1 winner from each team who create the best burger
will then be crowned the ‘Big Mouth Champ’. Winners got the bragging
rights and $250 worth of Chili’s vouchers.
Terence and I joined forces together to accept the challenge and create our very own Big Mouth Burger on Chili’s annual ‘Big Mouth Burger Day’. As part of this challenge, we were tasked to create our own burger using Chili’s special Big Mouth Burger ingredients, and we named our burger as Rancher Madness.
The burger chit that was rendered to us with a list of ingredients to be chosen for our
task in creating our own Big Mouth Burger. We were all ready for the bloggers VS social media contestants
showdown, where two ‘Big Mouth Champs’ of 2013 to be crowned.
We chose Ranch and Honey Mustard for our dressing and we
selected BBQ Sauce and Honey Chipotle for the burger sauce. We also selected
Lettuce, Red Onion and Tomato as our vegetable ingredients for our burger too, as for the cheese,
we picked up Swiss and Parmesan and lastly, egg was chosen as our extra
ingredient...
After completion, we submitted our chit form and the chef from
Chili's prepared the burger as per our ingredients chit form stated. My
creation including the fellow bloggers' creations were judged by a group of contestants who have won their place through social media
contests and likewise, their creations will be judged by me and the fellow
bloggers.
While
waiting for the burgers to be served, we mingled among the fellow bloggers and social media
contestants...
We were served with some sides like Buffalo Wings and Nachos too...
I
ate and gave my comments in term of points on the 7 different types of Big
Mouth Burgers which were created by the Social Media contestants.
All
the burgers which were created by the social media contestants tasted wonderful
and it was pretty hard to tell which tasted the best. I did enjoy myself
tasting different types of Big Mouth Burger...
The moment
arrived as they were going to reveal the Big Mouth Champ (one winner among the Food
bloggers and another winner from social media contest winners)
OMG!! Our Rancher
Madness was crowned as the champion among the Food Bloggers’ creation. Yes!!
