I am back again with the second character of the classic plush toys from McDonald's

 
Birdie is a yellow bird. known for being a blabbermouth. She wears a pink jumpsuit as well as aflight cap and scarf. However she was is poor flyer and somewhat clumsy in general.

 
 
Baby got it for me again for a good cause, and I feel great and contented that we are able to do trivial things to help the society.

 

 
Holding on to the plush toys brought back my rollin' good times spent during my younger days, as it is  nostalgic for me...

 
We made a trip down to Taman Century, Johor Bahru, Malaysia to ease our craving on Wanton Mee. In Taman Century, there are 3 eatery places that sell wanton mee, and of course, Restoran Ho Seng Kee and Restoran Yit Foh receive more rave reviews among the 3 food joints. This time round, we didn’t visit everyone’s favorite, Restoran Ho Seng Kee or our favorite, Restoran Yit Foh, and in fact we visit another food joint, Ho Ming Kee.

 
I believe that Ho Ming Kee is consider the least known to Singaporeans. Oh well, the only good thing about this eatery place is that is the price is slightly cheaper than the other eatery places and service was tremendously rapid. 
 
The egg noodles were kinda on par with Restoran Yit Foh but sadly to say that their wanton soup was lousy.
 
 
The verdict among the three eatery places - Restoran Yit Foh, Restoran Ho Seng Kee and Restoran Ho Ming Kee
Egg Noodles: Restoran Ho Seng Kee wins
Wanton Soup: Restoran Yit Foh wins
Cost saves: Restoran Ho Ming Kee wins 

 
Recently, Washokodokoro Waraku Restaurant opened at VivoCity.


 
We had a sumptuous dinner and the damage was SGD53-ish. Overall, we enjoyed the warm service, yummy food and of course the awesome scenery. It is a pretty good laid back eatery place to spend with friends and family.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
