[food tasting] A lovely experience at Insadong Korean Town, RWS

Insadong Korean Town, which specializes in Korean food, has arrival at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore!

Insadong Korean Town is boosted with a team of experienced chefs who are specialized in authentic Korean recipes brought in from Korea, and food supplies are air flown directly in from Korea. It offers an assortment of over 200 types of authentic Korean, Korean- Chinese, Korean-Western, Korean-Japanese cuisine and an array of street food/snacks. 

You can find an interesting and unique ordering system in Insadong Korean Town! There are 6 self-ordering kiosks located at the entrance of the eatery place.

For the first time in Singapore, we can look forward to a wonderful dining experience in a replica setting of the famous Insadong Korean Street. It is actually one of the famous attractions in Seoul, as it represents the focal point of Korean traditional cuisine, culture and crafts.

A welcome drink, Iced Honey Citron Tea was served to us once we got seated, and as well as the all-time favorite Korean Banchan!

An addictive snack, Toppoki (Korean Rice Cake) though it was kinda spicy, but the spiciness doesn't stop me for having more servings. 

 

 I love the Kimchi Pancake very much as it tasted really yummy, just like those I have tried before in Korea.

I was pretty disappointed with the Ginseng Chicken Soup as the broth was bland and lacked any taste of Ginseng. The soup eventually tasted much better after we cut the chicken and mixed the chicken meat into the soup.

As for the Bossam, I enjoyed the kimchi more than the main role, sliced cold pork. We tried to eat the meat with a generous spread of miso paste and it surprisingly tasted better.

Xiao Long Bao in Kimchi Soup is a special yet perfect pairing! I love the tangy spicy kimchi soup very much.

Pumpkin Spaghetti was covered with a creamy and thick layer of cheese. An advice for you folks, you must eat it while it is hot as it tasted pretty bad after it turned cold, as the pasta will clump together after a while into a big lump!

Red Bean Pancake is an excellent dessert as the crispy texture and the soft red bean paste just literally melted in my mouth!

Mixed Fruit Shaved Ice was a let-down as the visual did not tally with its taste at all!

Watermelon Soju was my clincher of the night as it tasted refreshing and I had a few helpings myself!

Jipangyi aka J Cone is a traditional crispy corn snack in Korea that is injected with vanilla ice-cream.

 

Thanks so much for the invite, and I had a pleasurable dining experience as a whole. Insadong Korean Town is a definitely worth a visit for savoring the best authentic Korean food in a Korean dining setting.
