[wine/food tasting] Her World Dines Out At CHIJMES

Together with Joanne and her beau, Mr D ; Caren and her mate, Pauline ; my lovely Baby and Yours Truly attended the Her World Dines Out At CHIJMES. This event was a collaboration between CHIJMES and HER WORLD Magazine.

There were 2 sessions, and we chose the 5-7pm slot. We were rather lucky to be arranged to be in the same group for the tasting session. We were all ready to tuck into the scrumptious food at CHIJMES!

 

Upon reaching the premises, we headed down to The Lawn, CHIJMES to register ourselves. Goodies Bags were handed to us upon registration.

First stop: El Mero Mero (#01-20)

El Mero Mero is a Mexican restaurant which offers traditional favorites and tasty contemporary surprises made with ingredients that are sourced directly from Mexico.

The tacos were tasted awesome!

Second stop: Highlander (#B1-05)

Highlander offers yummy Scottish fare, as well as live performance.

I love the Scottish eggs and the cocktail was refreshing too. 

I like the setting as it has a simple Scottish bar design that bears a strong Scottish Heritage. 

Third stop: Oyster Bar & Wine Dining Wharf (#01-19)

Oysters are everybody's favorite in our group as we are oyster lovers. This eatery place is a New York inspired establishment, which specializes in oysters sourced from all over the world. 

The highlight was the fresh oysters that were served with creative sauces such as whisky, truffle oil and chilli salt sauces.

I love the chic New York Bar Theme, and we had an exquisite tasting experience at Oyster Bar & Wine Dining Wharf. 

Fourth and the last stop: Prive (#01-33)

It is located in the CHIJMES Courtyard area and it is has both indoor and outdoor seating.

For me, I prefer the alfresco dining as the whole dining area is surrounded by greenery. It makes a perfect brunch gathering, and gives a true-blue lawn dining experience.

It is a great place to linger with friends or loved ones until the sun goes down.

Time to reveal my goodies bag which I received from the event.

I got tons of beauty trial kits and perfume vials from various brands such as Laneige, VDL, Kenzo, Essential and etc.

Apart from the various beauty samples, the goodies bag also consisted of a bottle of wine, a Kate Spade pouch and of course a current issue of Her World Magazine.

We had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at CHIJMES, and I look forward to the next activity by Her World Magazine/SPH Magazines.
