[personal] STAR WARS: The Force Awakens Exhibition + Paddington House of Pancakes + Som Tam

STAR WARS: The Force Awakens Exhibition has opened at VivoCity, and this is a rare experience for all Star Wars Fans that is out of this world, which only available at VivoCity.

 

 

 I love the Storm-troopers which were neatly displayed at the entrance of the atrium event. I took a random photo with the one of the Storm-troopers.

 

Apart from the STAR WARS merchandising and collectibles, there was a large wall mural made of Lego bricks. A new record was set by The Walt Disney Company and duly recorded in the Singapore Book of Records!

 

Before leaving VivoCity, I took a random photo of the beautiful Christmas tree! 

 

A few weeks ago, Baby and I visited the Ginza Lion Beer Hall, which is located at Suntec City. This Japanese chain started in Ginza Wars of Tokyo Japan, way back in 1899! It was originally a sales division of Sapporo Beer!

 

Baby ordered the Sapporo Premium Beer which was served in an interesting boot glass. 

 

The Chicken Wings were AWESOME! The deep fried chicken wings were well infused with delicious seasonings and soy sauce. It is definitely one of the best wings I had eaten so far. 

 

Apart from the chicken wings, we also ordered Calamari Rings and Pizza. We love the setting of the eatery place, and we will be back for a proper meal next time. 

 

We were back again to Som Tam after our first visit in November. We repeated our previous orders as we love the food very much, as well as not forgetting, the very generous portions! The dinner damage for this visit was SGD42 (tax included).

 

 

We had Yum Woon Sen again as our starter dish! 

  

 

Baby loves the Tom Yum Koong very much, and he can't get enough of it! He has been constantly requesting to come back here solely for this, since our last visit! I really have to give my credit to the chef too, as it REALLY tasted delicious. 

 

 

This time, we ordered something different as well, and we had the Deep Fried Chicken with Creamy Salted Egg. It is a Korean-Thai fusion dish that reminds me of a similar item that can be found in most Chinese Cze Char. I really love the thick creamy egg gravy which consisted of a real salted eggs, and I found this to be a pretty unusual cooking method as compared to others. The chicken meat was well-marinated and the curry leaves also present to enhance the flavor of the dish. 

 

Both Baby and I love pancakes very much, so we decided to settle at Paddington House of Pancakes for afternoon tea as part of my family outing. Little Hayden was on cloud nine when it comes to desserts. 

 

In Paddington House of Pancakes, they offer savory hearty meals and sweet sinful desserts any time of the day. 

 

 

The pancakes served at Paddington House of Pancakes are prepared freshly daily, so do have a little patience! 

 

I end my post with a snack gift from Japan from Baby's colleague, and of course a sweet key-ring from Ryna who just came back from Melbourne. Thanks Girl!
